This PCS binder gathers 78 pages of planners, checklists and lists for a permanent change of station into one printable PDF. It has 9 core sections plus 4 extra ones for children, vehicles, pets & animals and other documents.
Nine checklists run in time order. Eight are timed: on receiving orders, two months prior, one month prior, two weeks prior, one week prior, day before, day of moving and after the move. The ninth is blank, so you can add your own steps to your military PCS checklist.

Packing lists & PCS inventory sheet pages
Packing lists come in three versions: with movers, express shipping and with you. Keep / Sell, Toss / Donate and Storage sheets sort your belongings first. An inventory list and a detailed inventory sheet then record what goes where, which gives you a PCS inventory sheet for the whole household.
Money, housing & contacts
The finance pages include a military moving expense tracker, PCS budget examples, a blank PCS budget, a debt payment sheet, a bill checklist and a budget plan. An entitlement / allowance information sheet sits alongside them.
For housing, you get a house comparison sheet, a utility switching sheet, and previous and new address pages. Contacts are covered by a quick contact list, a detailed contact list, a medical contact list and a change of address list.
A moving week prep form and a moving day sheet extend your military moving checklist to the last seven days and the day itself.
Dates, planners & notes
The binder has 13 section dividers, each paired with a section list of what belongs behind it. You'll also find a blank monthly calendar, a weekly planner, a daily planner and an important dates list. Lined notes pages come in 9 versions, one for each color.
Sizes & printing
Files are included in A4 and US Letter. A contents list tells you which document is on which page, and you can print any page as many times as you need. The PDFs aren't editable, so you fill everything in by hand.
Questions about this PCS binder
Can I use it outside the US military? It was commissioned by a member of the US military, and many of the processes are similar or identical in other countries.
Do I need every section? No. The children, vehicles and pets & animals sections are for special circumstances, so print only the ones that match your move.
